Sam Kane

Sam Kane is a prominent community leader and advocate based in Bendigo, and has been a regular session host at Bendigo Writers Festival for the last six-years. He works for the Victorian Government and is President & General Manager at Golden Square Pool after leading the grassroots campaign which stopped its closure. He now oversees 90-volunteers in operating the vibrant community hub. Sam has previously worked for Bendigo Foodshare, and is a well-respected public speaker and voice for change in our community.

Bendigo Writers Festival is owned by the City of Greater Bendigo and delivered by the service unit Bendigo Venues & Events.
